Charles

27 years old, from Mityana, Uganda

Charles lives in the Mityana district in Uganda with his brother. His brother is a small scale metal welder and cannot raise the university funds to send Charles to law school. Currently Charles helps his brother with his metal welding shop. Charles enjoys literature and likes to read novels and watch movies. He has a strong desire to become a lawyer and a voice for the voiceless in his society. “I want to be a lawyer. My inspiration to study law is because I see very many people who need justice yet many are not helped due to lack of finances and corruption in accessing justice. I want to reach out to such people with the law degree.”
