Irene is a sweet little girl who lives with her parents and two siblings. Irene’s father lost his job during the COVID lockdown in Uganda, and has been struggling to find a job since jobs are very scarce. Irene’s mother works in a garden to provide for food for her family to eat at home. Sponsorship will provide Irene a head start on her early childhood education. It will also guarantee Irene is able to start preschool on time. Starting preschool at a young age is one of the major factors determining a child stays at grade level and succeeds academically, emotionally, and socially as they grow up.
