Helene is a happy, bright girl who lives in Zirobwe, Uganda and loves to sing. Helene lives with her mom, dad and five siblings. Her family is quite hardworking in their family garden, that provides just enough food for them to eat and sell to get basic necessities at home. Although her parents are so hardworking their income is inconsistent enough to accommodate all of their children to go to school. Helene needs a sponsor to start school. Starting preschool at a young age is one of the major factors determining a child stays at grade level and succeeds academically, emotionally, and socially as they grow up.
