Shadiah

Shadiah lives in a rural village in Uganda with her grandmother. Her parents are peasant farmers and really struggled to care for her basic needs so they sent her to live with her grandmother. Her grandmother struggles as well and cannot afford to send Shadiah to school. Shadiah's favorite subject in school is Social Studies. In her free time she enjoys skipping rope. Shadiah wants to become a teacher when she grows up.
