IvyReader Software

Empower a Child Inc.’s first flagship project was the release, and free distribution of Ivy Reader; a software that improves people’s abilities to read quickly by training the eyes to maximize peripheral vision and ‘capture’ full sentences.

Since its release the Ivy Reader has been enhanced with a speed-typing program, an e-book library, goal-setting and time-management modules. Empower a Child Inc. hopes that NY Department of Education will approve their proposal to incorporate Ivy Reader into the core curriculum of computer classes in public schools thereby allowing children across the country to benefit from Ivy Reader’s full array of personal development features.

IvyLearner Academy

In late 2010, expanding on its original mission, Empower a Child Inc. launched an IvyLearner Academy, in the hopes of making high quality educational content accessible to everyone online for free. IvyLearner uses technology to increase access to world-class educational content, and to ease the process, and the cost of learning. The goal of the Academy is to bring together specific content that will directly and immediately impact your critical skills. IvyLearner Academy is remarkably easy to use and users can submit contributions, making the collective content increasingly valuable.
